Margies Cove West Campground sits in the Sonoran Desert National Monument adjacent to the North Maricopa Mountains Wilderness Area. The primitive site contains three vehicle campsites equipped with picnic tables and steel fire rings, along with a vault toilet, informational signs, and day-use parking spaces for ten vehicles. There is no drinking water available at the location. The grounds sit directly beside the Margies Cove West Trailhead.
