Burnt Corral Campground sits along Apache Lake at 1,914 feet elevation, 5.8 miles south of Roosevelt Dam on AZ Hwy 88. Set among mesquite, palo verde, and saguaro, it features 76 campsites, 6 day-use picnic areas, a paved boat launch, and a boarding dock. Campsites include parking spurs, shade ramadas, picnic tables, and fire rings with grills. Accessible facilities, potable water hydrants, and vault toilets serve the campground. Nearby spots include Roosevelt Dam, Tortilla Flats, and Tonto National Monument.

The road in has not been measured -- unknown, not bad. Overhead clearance here is posted at 8 ft -- the tightest site sets the limit.

The Apache Lake shoreline is 0.2 mi off. Buckhorn Mountain stands 4,633 ft above the site, 5.3 miles northwest. Exposed here -- the nearest through road is 0.3 miles off, a 79-site campground. 79 sit on the water -- most of them shaded. The nearest town, Tonto Basin, is 16 mi off.
