Free overnight camping in Apache-Sitgreaves National Forests at 6,604 feet, 16 miles north of Clifton on US 191. Shaded by Arizona Cypress, Quaking aspen, and Gambel oak. Fifteen picnic tables and 10 grills, with vault toilets and horse corrals at the north end. No potable water. Pleasant setting suitable for overnight use, picnicking, and wildlife viewing.
