A cattle guard 9 miles in.
Ida Peak stands 2,800 ft above the site, 3.4 miles southeast. A well-travelled stretch -- travellers have camped along here. A reservoir lies 0.6 mi off. The nearest town, Willcox, is 36 mi off.
