Luna Lake Campground sits at 8,000 feet in the Apache National Forest, five miles east of Alpine. Situated in an open stand of ponderosa pines, the rustic layout features three reservable group sites holding 40, 56, and 120 people, served by vault toilets and drinking water. The campground is a short walk from 75-acre Luna Lake, where a day-use area provides a boat ramp, fishing pier, marina, bait shop, and boat rentals. Additional features include a non-motorized multi-use trail network and summer educational programs. Livestock is prohibited inside the campground.
