Setting
Hoyer Campground is located at 8,300 feet in the White Mountains of the Apache National Forest, less than a mile from Greer Lakes and the Little Colorado River. The facility contains nearly 100 shaded campsites with gravel roads, pine needle bases, and an amphitheater hosting summer weekend programs. Amenities include open shower facilities, a dump station, and an on-site host selling ice and bundled firewood. Nearby waters provide fishing for rainbow, cutthroat, brook, and brown trout, with additional access to hiking trails and the White Mountain Scenic Byway.
Getting there: From Show Low, Arizona, take Highway 260 southeast 42 miles to Highway 373. Take Highway 373 south 3 miles to the campground, which is on the right.
