Buffalo Crossing Campground sits in a forested valley at the southern end of the East Fork canyon, shaded by tall ponderosa pines, grasses, alders, and cottonwoods. Built during the Civilian Conservation Corps era, this site features the largest campsites along the river. Set back a few steps from the stream to protect the Black River's riparian zone, the sites offer clear, easy access through the undergrowth to the water.

The road in has not been measured -- unknown, not bad.
