Willow Beach Campground sits in a forested area along the Arkansas River near the David D. Terry Lock and Dam. The park features 21 campsites with water and electric hookups, plus three group picnic shelters for day use. Amenities include hot showers, a dump station, a playground, and a boat ramp with access to river cutoffs for crappie and bass fishing. Located 193 feet above sea level near local cotton fields, the campground is a short drive from downtown Little Rock.

The road in has not been measured -- unknown, not bad. Sits on broad, near-level ground.

Crowded here -- the nearest through road is 0.1 miles off, a 21-site campground. A body of water lies 0.2 mi off. Night skies measure Bortle 5 -- a rural sky with a glow on the horizon. Open country -- nothing named rises within 30 miles of here. Most sites here have an electric hookup -- one sits on the water, most of them shaded. The nearest town, McAlmont, is 7.3 mi off.

September normals 6385°F, 3.3″ rain. Monthly averages, PRISM 1991–2020.
