Setting
John F. Kennedy Park sits on the Little Red River directly downstream from Greers Ferry Dam in the north-central Arkansas Ozarks. The campground has 68 sites with electrical hookups, 44 of which include water hookups. Facilities feature flush toilets, showers, a dump station, a picnic shelter, and a boat ramp. The surrounding forest of red cedar, oak, gum, and pecan provides shade and habitat for deer and wild turkeys. The Greers Ferry National Fish Hatchery and the William Carl Garner Visitor Center are located nearby.
Getting there: From Heber Springs, AR, take SR-25 north 4 miles, cross the dam, and turn right on the second road.
