Setting
Prairie Creek Campground sits along the shores of Beaver Lake near limestone bluffs in the Ozark Mountains. The park features shaded campsites with picnic tables and fire rings, alongside facilities including flush toilets, drinking water, a sand volleyball court, a playground, and a five-lane boat ramp. Campers can swim, scuba dive, and fish for bass, crappie, and catfish in the lake, or access trout fishing on the adjacent White River below the dam. Surrounding Ozark mountain trails provide options for hiking and mountain biking.
Getting there: From Rogers, Arkansas, take Highway 12/Prairie Creek Drive east for just over 3 miles. Turn left onto North Park Road and follow to the campground.
