Setting
Horseshoe Bend Campground sits along the shore of Beaver Lake in the Ozark Mountains of northwest Arkansas, surrounded by limestone bluffs, natural caves, hardwood, and evergreen forests. The park features spacious campsites step from the water, equipped with fire rings, picnic areas, drinking water, flush toilets, and three large group picnic areas. On-site access allows for swimming, boating, and fishing on the 28,000-acre lake, while hiking trails cross the nearby terrain and trout fishing is available below the dam on the upper White River.
Getting there: From Rogers, Arkansas, take Highway 94 East/New Hope Road for approximately 8 miles, and follow into Horseshoe Bend Park.
