Setting
Dam Quarry Campground sits on the banks of the North Fork River and Dry Run Creek in northern Arkansas, directly below Norfork Dam and three miles northeast of Norfork. Surrounded by forested Ozark hills, the site is recognized for trout fishing, kayaking, and hiking. The campground features an on-site boat ramp, a playground, and electric hookups at all individual campsites. A marina is located just above the dam on Norfork Lake, and Ozark National Forest lies a short drive to the south.
Getting there: From Mountain Home, AR, take State Route 5 south 14 miles to Salesville, then turn left on State Route 177 for 2 miles. Park is located below Norfolk Dam. Follow signs into the campground.
