Setting
Corinth Recreation Area sits on the shores of Lewis Smith Lake within Bankhead National Forest. The facility offers 52 paved RV campsites with full water, sewer, and electric hookups, plus eight rustic tent sites. Amenities include four bathhouses with warm showers, drinking water, a 100-person picnic pavilion, a 1.25-mile shoreline hiking trail, and a swim beach with outdoor showers. Boaters have access to a dedicated camper boat ramp and a separate year-round public launch. The lake provides fishing for spotted bass and hybrid striped bass.
