Situated along the William 'Bill' Dannelly section of the Alabama River near Camden, Alabama, Bridgeport Beach is a day-use park featuring a designated lake swimming area and a sandy beach. The grounds include a large grassy lawn, scattered individual picnic tables, and a covered picnic pavilion designed for group gatherings overlooking the water. The park operates seasonally from April 1 through Labor Day.
