The site features 176 shaded campsites equipped with picnic tables, fire rings with grills, and water and electric hookups, with select sites offering full sewer hookups. On-site amenities include accessible restrooms, a multi-use court, an amphitheater, and a waterfront walking route. Across the waterway, an adjacent day-use area provides a swim beach, playground, boat ramp, fish cleaning station, and an accessible fishing dock targeting bass, crappie, and catfish.

Getting there: From Tuscaloosa, Alabama, take Highway 82 west to the junction with Highway 86. Turn left on 86 west to Pickensville. The entrance road to the campground is 2.5 miles from the yellow caution light.
